On December 12, 2024, the Department of Community Medicine at Dhubri Medical College & Hospital (DMCH), in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), commemorated Universal Health Coverage (UHC) Day under the theme "Health: It's on the government!" The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of accessible and affordable healthcare for all.
Highlights of the Day-Long Program
Morning Yoga Session: The day began with an invigorating yoga session, emphasizing the role of preventive health practices in achieving universal health coverage and promoting overall well-being.
Street Play for Public Awareness: Students and faculty staged a compelling street play to educate the public on the significance of UHC, underscoring the need for strong and resilient health systems that leave no one behind.
